Toby
A. Cole has worked for SUNY’s Center for International Development for 19
years. She has served as project director or manager on numerous
SUNY/CID legislative
assistance projects including those in Benin,
Iraq, Kenya, Rwanda,
and Uganda. Ms. Cole completed a successful
trip to Malawi,
where she spent a month and a half working on the project startup
of
our new contract from U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)
to work with the National Assembly. She
also has contributed expertise to the SUNY/CID Brazil Training
Project,
the UNDP Program for Knowledge and Advocacy in Parliamentary Development,
the Ghana Parliamentary Budget Oversight Program, the Morocco Parliamentary
Strengthening Project and various large study tours.
Ms.
Cole earned her BA in Psychology, with a minor in African-American Studies
from the State University of New York at Albany.
