Cecelia M. Skott
Cecelia M. Skott is a Senior Associate at SUNY/CID, with more than 20 years of international development experience in Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Lusophone Africa. For the last 19 years, she has worked primarily in the implementation of USAID-sponsored democracy and governance projects focused on legislative strengthening. She brings additional expertise in human capacity development, training, and environmental sciences. Currently serving as a Senior Associate for the Kenya AHADI Program, her former project experience includes work in Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Peru, Haiti, Iraq, Jordan and Mozambique. Prior to joining SUNY/CID, Ms. Skott was a volunteer for the U.S. Peace Corps in Paraguay. Ms. Skott holds an M.A. in geography from the State University of New York at Albany with a specialization in remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems, and a B.A. in environmental studies from Alfred University. Ms. Skott is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
